Miscellaneous provisions under chapter 11 of GDPR-Part 2

In continuation to our last post (link here-https://worldprivacylaw.com/?p=899) we shall now discuss the remaining provisions of chapter 11 of the GDPR. 

C) Review of other Union legal acts on data protection (Art.98)

Article 98 states that the Commission must, if appropriate, submit legislative proposals with a view to amending other Union legal acts on the protection of personal data , in order to ensure uniform and consistent protection of natural persons with regard to processing. This shall in particular concern the rules relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to processing by union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data. 

D) Entry into force and application (Art.99)

Article 99 of GDPR clarifies that the provisions of GDPR shall come into force on 20th day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European union.     

The provisions of GDPR to be applied from 25th May 2018.

So in today’s article we have concluded the entire provisions of GDPR running around 11 chapters and 99 articles.
